Open at the end of November 2007, the Dudley Cellar Door and Café is located at the gateway to Kangaroo Island in the picturesque township of Penneshaw. As the SeaLink Ferry terminal provides the only entry/exit to vehicular traffic from the mainland, most visitors start and finish their tour of the island here.

Why not drop in for lunch and sample our gourmet menu featuring fantastic local island produce and the best seasonal ingredients, designed by our award winning chef. Most of the local produce used is available for purchase, so you can take home the fantastic flavours with you, even with a few tips from the chef! All of this can be accompanied by a glass of fine Dudley wine as you sit back and enjoy the view over Backstairs Passage towards the Fleurieu Peninsula.

The Dudley Cellar Door and Cafe offers complimentary tastings of the entire range of wines, and the facilities make it a perfect venue for private functions, parties and weddings.

Located in the historic ‘Corner Store’ building on the corner of North Terrace and Thomas Willson Street, Penneshaw, it is just a short walk or drive up from the SeaLink Ferry Terminal.

Open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm, no visit to Kangaroo Island would be complete without a visit to the Dudley Cellar Door and Café.
