This year marks 30 years since we first planted vines at Porky Flat in 1994 – how time flies when you’re having fun!!

What started as a small experimental planting of Shiraz vines on part of our sheep farm (due in part to the collapse of the wool industry in the early 90s) has grown into a successful, 100% fully owned, Kangaroo Island family business. We are proud of what we have created, and love being able to share our grape growing and wine making passion with all of our visitors. We are also thrilled to now have three generations of our family working alongside each other in the business from the Wine Maker, Vineyard hands through to all hands on 'Deck' at the Cellar Door!
