Dudley Wines pride themselves in producing a 100% Kangaroo Island product. All of the grapes presented in their wines are grown on the island. The main vineyards are located at Porky Flat on the southern side of the Dudley Peninsula – right alongside the winery. Dudley Wines have approximately 20 acres of vines including white and red varieties. The soils are light marl/red loam over limestone (‘Goanna ground’ according to Jeff). Rainfall is approx. 560 mm (Approx 22”). Trellising: North-south facing aspect, gently sloping, single cordon bilaterals with spur pruning.
Dudley Wines source some of their grapes from other vineyards in the Kangaroo Island Wine Region, mainly on the Dudley Peninsula.
